Welcome to The Arts Society Camberley


We have monthly illustrated talks by high quality professional lecturers, special interest days and visits and we support arts and heritage in the community. The speakers are experts, covering all areas of fine and decorative arts, architecture and broader topics within the arts. We are a friendly society, pleased to welcome new members.

There is no waiting list for new members so you are welcome to join us right now! For more on how to join please click here. Joining is easy and costs just £45 for a year's membership, enabling you to enjoy our monthly lectures, take part in our visits and special interest days and receive the quarterly Arts Society magazine. You can also access other Arts Society events organised by West Surrey Area.

Volunteers are active in Church Recording, Heritage Conservation and Young Arts programmes.

Our next lecture is on Wednesday 22nd May at 1.30pm for 2.00pm. Adam Busiakiewicz talks about Robert Dudley: The patronage and collection of Elizabeth I’s favourite. This lecture shows how Dudley’s castles and houses set new standards for extravagance in the buildings, their interiors and their displays of paintings, tapestries and other works of art. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits are available from 1.30pm. It will finish by 3.30pm. Details of the lecture are here.
