We have monthly illustrated talks by high quality professional lecturers, special interest days and visits and we support arts and heritage in the community. The speakers are experts, covering all areas of fine and decorative arts, architecture and broader topics within the arts. We very much welcome new members.

There is no waiting list for new members so you are welcome to join us right now! For more on how to join please click here. Joining is easy and costs just £48 for a year's membership, enabling you to enjoy our monthly lectures, take part in our visits and special interest days and receive the quarterly Arts Society magazine. Your membership supports our work on arts and heritage in the community. You can also access other Arts Society events organised by West Surrey Area. 

Volunteers are active in Young Arts and Heritage Conservation programmes.

Our next lecture is on Wednesday 26 February 2020 at 2pm at High Cross Church. Barbara Askew will talk about Windsor Castle: From Medieval Fortress to Royal Palace. Barbara traces the deveopment of Windsor Castle from an 11th century fortress into a magnificent palace, showing how it has been successively enlarged, adapted and rebuilt by monarchs from Henry II to Elizabeth II. Full details are here.

Raphael and Michelangelo: Rivals in Rome is our special interest morning on 6 May 2020, with outstanding lecturer Sian Walters. It maarks the 500th anniversary of Raphael and will be an excellent introduction to the blockbuster exhibition this autumn at the National Gallery. Tickets, price £20, will go on sale at our February lecture and online. Further details are here.

Don’t miss the Spring Magic exhibition of children’s art, organised by The Arts Society Camberley, who have worked with sixteen local primary schools to display work by their pupils on a wide range of themes. It will be held at St Peter’s Church Hall, Frimley Green Road, Frimley, GU16 7AQ from Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 March 2020. Further details here.
